WWF Photo Challenge
12 Feb. 2012

WWF is an amazing, caring organisation that prides itself on tackling issues relating to nature and animal conservation, climate change and much more.
Since returning from East Africa in December I continued to follow WWF closely on twitter and visit their website regularly to see if there is anything I can to do help raise awareness for their causes.
This brought me to their recent photography challenge, matching the icons on their 50th anniversary 50p coin through my photographs. This coin shows 50 icons that represent the work that WWF do and I thought it would be a brilliant way to raise awareness both for WWF and my photography.
I don’t expect to win the challenge, as I’m sure there are people that achieved all 50, but I hope WWF and anyone who reads my blog enjoys the selection of images I have chosen. I’ve tried to avoid animals in captivity where possible, but those along with a couple of low quality images have crept their way in an attempt to try and match as many icons as possible.
Below are a few of my favourites amongst the 33 that I submitted. To view the full selection, visit my flickr set: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjyFEJ66 or browse through the various albums in my travel photography portfolio »
